On Balanced and Eco weights, most of the shelf, and where price-per-quality peaks. High (frontier) models never touch it: they bill your USDG balance even while allowance remains. The full routing logic lives in Model Tiers & Routing.
Weekly free calls (earned by holding $ARCEN) fit prompts up to ~8k tokens, anything larger rolls over to pay-as-you-go. The 5M-token trial has no prompt cap; bigger prompts just draw it down faster.
